BRIGATINE BEACH

brigatine.jpg

Many years ago, I created art with silkscreen prints and etchings.  The large, flat areas of color, transparent colors melting together, spoke to me!  Unfortunately, the toxicity of the spirit-based inks and solvents became a health issue.  Water-based inks didn't have the same luminosity...and they wrinkled my papers.

Currently I've been returning to my silkscreen "flat areas of color" roots, only this time, through computer art.  "Brigatine Beach" (an island off Atlantic City, NJ) is one of the images I created from a photograph I took while visiting friends in Brigatine.
